Worth the Money!

Edit on 1/14/2015: I just want to say that when I wrote and titled this review I had purchased this guide new for $12.32. Unless you're a collector, it's not worth $40+ dollars that some people are asking and certainly not $200. Most if not all of the information in it can be found online.
I've been a Harvest Moon fan since the Super Nintendo days, and it's fun to see how the game has advanced. Animal Parade is by far the most detailed and complex in the series so far, and the strategy guide is a big help.
The guide is divided into 4 sections: Basics, Events, Character Data, and Item Data. The sections are color coded and it's not too hard to find what you're looking for. I've found the character data the most helpful, since a big part of the game involves having to make friends with your neighbors, and the item data section, which includes price lists, recipes, tool upgrades and store upgrade information. But the events section is fun and may encourage you to interact with villagers you wouldn't have otherwise just to trigger them.
Just like in the Tree of Tranquility guide, however, there are errors. Some of the ones I've noticed so far:
-Cain doesn't appear in the Character Data section, although his picture is next to Craig's profile.
-Item's listed for the Watermill and the Windmill are switched around.
-Not all of a character's likes and dislikes are listed (this may be more about limited space than an error)
Also, there is no information about the maps you can buy at the General Store, which was a bit disapointing, but it's nice to have a few things to figure out on your own (or look up online).
Despite that stuff, it's still a great buy and really helps to get the most out of the game.

Decent Guide, a few typos/wrong info, but nothing serious

Just what I needed to help me out in the game. There are a few flaws, but what strategy guide is without them? The recipe lists and character pages are EXTREMELY helpful! =)

Would just like to point out that people that are trying to sell this book for over 50 dollars, your crazy.
The game currently is 15 dollars...
People trying to sell the book for way over the price of the actual game, I would understand if it was 20 dollars but it's really stupid to be trying to sell the book for the same price of a new video game. The game isn't new and yes value would go up, but that takes years, it hasn't been long enough for this book to be 50 dollars. Lower the price or no sales.
I love the game but I'm sticking to online guides because of this..
